Heather & Travis Decker

Oh Heather and Travis, where do I begin?! I met sweet Heather Marie two years ago when her little fella, Robert, was just a few months old. Through the years I have been blessed to capture so many special moments for the Decker family. From those first newborn pictures to now, I have been honored to capture so many of their special moments. It is safe to say the Deckers are like family to us. Not only were they guests at our wedding, I even attend Heather’s bachelorette party in Nashville! Luckiest wedding photog, ever?! Yes!)

The Wedding Day

It is no secret that the past week has been such a whirlwind. With closures and social distancing, hosting a wedding has not been a breeze. Our dear friends fell right in the middle of the craziness. Despite their venue being forced to close and banning large crowds, they decided to make the best of these wild times. On Saturday, Travis and Heather shared an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest family. I was so honored to get to be one of the lucky few to witness such a beautiful day.

The days leading up to the ceremony were stressful. However, Heather and Travis took to wedding DIY. They made their own special wedding venue at Travis’ family home. I was blown away with their crafting skills, you guys! They worked so hard to turn Travis’ dad’s workshop into a little wedding oasis!

I think all this dedication speaks volumes for the love H&T share for one another. As we all know, life is not always rainbows and unicorns. It is what you do as a couple during those tough times that really matter.

All of us in the Morrison House could not be happier for Heather and Travis. We wish you a hundred years of happy tears! Big (air) hugs!

A very special thank you to the team that made this day possible!
